Η φωτιά έθεσε σε συναγερμό την Πυροσβεστική Υπηρεσία ενώ ακούγονταν και εκρήξεις οι οποίες προκάλεσαν αναστάτωση στους κατοίκους της περιοχής.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι έκλεισε από τον αυτοκινητόδρομο Λεμεσού-Πάφου, ο δρόμος προς την περιοχή Ύψωνα, λόγω πυρκαγιάς που εκδηλώθηκε σε εργοστάσιο στην περιοχή. Στην περιοχή βρίσκονται μέλη της Αστυνομίας για ρύθμιση της κυκλοφορίας και παροχή βοήθειας.
